Mission Statement
Kids @ Play Preschool will provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment where we recognize that the emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs of all children must be met in a safe, challenging, creative, and nurturing environment.
Kids @ Play understands that play is the work of children and essential to a child’s well being. Through play-based opportunities we will foster self-esteem, competence, critical thinking, problem solving and leadership in an environment that includes structured, routine and open-ended classroom activities.

At our school we encourage children to utilize their unique talents to observe, converse and reflect while learning respect and responsibility in each play opportunity.
How We Meet Each Child's Needs
- Each child will be encouraged to take risks, use reflection, observation, conversation and collaboration
- Each child is unique and special; Respect, Responsibility and Community are key learning components
- Each child will be exposed to a variety of play opportunities that encourage social emotional development
- Each child has the right to be challenged as they continue to learn and grow
- Each child has the right to express imagination and natural curiosity about the world around them
- Fine motor, gross motor and regulation skills are foundational in the development of academics

My daughter attends this preschool and I could not be more happy with the quality of the teachers and programming. The facility is clean and bright with lots of different daily activities and themes, the teachers warm friendly and compassionate. My daughter raves about how much fun she has and is always asking when she can go back to school.

We've made wonderful new friends in the community and the teachers are incredibly dedicated and invested in the children. My son always looked forward to going to school each morning and he's prepared and confident about starting kindergarten in September. As a volunteer, I am so impressed with all the work and care the teachers put forth to help all the kids in their class enjoy each day at school by learning with many fun activities, and helping where ever they need to learn and grow. Clean atmosphere, health conscience, and always creative. The teachers are also such great people to work with, their awesome personalities and attitudes are shown by the way they teach the children and interact with the parents. Couldn't find better people to help your children transition into their next chapter of life as they start school!
